In his dialogues, the philosopher Plato wrote about the theory of Forms, suggesting that the physical world is not as real or true as forms, the non-physical, timeless, and absolute essence of all things. 

Ideal Forms is a project that explores the interaction of metaphysical ideas and the concrete world we live in. The dimensions of the acrylic pieces equals 5,040, a number reflecting Platonic perfection. The clear color of the material represents brilliance, one of the three ideal colors alongside black and red. The process book accompanying the project explains the project‘s basis in the metaphysical world.
