BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) is a multi-arts center located in Brooklyn, New York. As BAM’s biggest annual festival, BAM Next Wave showcases a series of emerging artists and innovative modern masters’ most updated performances.

The identity system for the 2024–25 Next Wave Festival highlights the varied nature of the performances. Drawing inspiration from stage direction signals and stage sets, the visual language was distilled into icons and dynamic text arrangements, allowing for versatility and adaptability in their use.
